Who we are
India to Offshore & London ("we", "us") operates a searchable database that lets verified organisations discover professionals for roles in the London Market and offshore financial centres. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We handle data in line with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for users in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored encrypted) or Google sign-in.
- Candidate profile: professional title, experience, qualifications, location, notice period, preferred destinations and anything else you add.
- Your CV file and the details automatically extracted from it.
- Organisation details for clients: organisation name, type, contact person, website, country.
- Usage data: searches, profile views, CV views and downloads, saves — used for the analytics shown to candidates and to run the service.
- Payment records: handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you signed up for (contract).
- To display candidate profiles and CVs to verified clients — only with your consent, which you give at sign-up and can withdraw at any time in Settings.
- To process subscriptions and prevent fraud (contract, legal obligation).
- To keep the platform secure and improve it (legitimate interests).
Who can see your data
Candidate profiles are only visible to organisations we have verified, and only while the profile is published with an active subscription. You can hide your CV, hide yourself from named companies, or unpublish your profile at any time. We use trusted service providers for hosting, AI-assisted CV reading and payments; they process data only on our instructions. We never sell personal data.
International transfers
The service connects people across India, the UK and offshore jurisdictions, so data may be processed outside your country. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, CV, analytics and sign-in are deleted immediately. Payment records may be kept for up to 7 years where tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent and object to processing. Most of this can be done yourself in your account Settings — including deleting your CV or your entire account. For anything else, contact us. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
